Mike Long  
 
Mike began playing golf at the age of 6 and he realized early on that he wanted to become a very accomplished player.  At the age of 10 Mike shot an even par round on his home course, Southwick, for the first time.  In his teenage years Mike continued his golf career by winning Club Championships, setting course records and winning county amateur’s.  Mike played professional golf on the Florida "mini tours" in the late 80' and early 90's. He became an offical PGA member in 1994 where he recieved the honor of Class A teaching professional.  The Professional Golf Management (PGM) program Mike went through provides world-class training for golf professional's by offering skill-based training programs.  
   
He began his professional management career at Southwick Golf Club as their Head Professional in 1989.  In 1996 he became Head Professional and Director of Golf at The Challenge Golf Club in Graham, NC, a four star award winning facility which is always ranked as one of the best courses in the state.  Followings his departure from the Challenge, Mike was chosen as Director of Golf at the prectigious Bryan Park Golf Club in Greensboro, a nationally award winning top new 100 courses in America in 2001.     
In 2006 he started Long Lasting Golf Solutions as a way to teach the great game of golf to anyone interested in improving there skills!  Mike's understanding of what makes the golf-swing work will help anyone get the most out of their game!
