Equipment: To get started you only need a few clubs. Just try a 7 iron, pitching wedge, and putter.
Addressing the ball: Set up to the ball in an athletic position as you would in most all other sports.
Swinging the club: Follow the sequence 1.Begin by slowly moving the arms back, 2. Shoulders begin to turn, 3. Torso begins to torque, 4. Hips slightly turn back. 5. Legs have turned slightly but are very balanced. Then you simply reverse the sequence! I know sounds easy but it is hard to get your body to react and I will certainly be able to help with this.
Getting started at the course: Start playing from very short distances from the green. This will certainly make it more enjoyable the first few rounds you play. It's all about having fun!
